Just got the proofs for “The Troll Hunter” and “White Sands, Red Steel” and they look pretty good. On sale now through Amazon. There is the barest sliver of a black border on the WSRS copy, where the cover art wasn’t big enough, but after looking at it, I kinda like it, so I’m not going to change it.
In the future however, I’m going to have all new book covers done with an ebook and paperback version in mind—which means having spine art as well as back cover art.
As of now, I have paperbacks available for:
Mountain Man (two books in one really)
The Troll Hunter
White Sands, Red Steel
The Missing Boatman
Now, with the novellas, there’s something of a problem. They’re small. I might combine them into one, which is an idea, but one novella “131 Days” is the start of a series, so I’ll have to think on that.
An update on 131 Days:10–just hit the 75K mark.
I didn’t get anything done on Monday, but the last three days have all been between 3100 and 4500 words, so I’m happy with that. I hope to have the first draft of the new book done by mid-August, if current speed can be maintained. Once that’s done, I’ll take a short break, and continue on with the next book in the series, so there won’t be too much of a wait in between books. Not certain how many books will be in the series (sorry) as there’s a lot going on… in fact, I’m cutting back on characters. I may do a secondary book, focusing on the same time period but with a different group of characters, but I haven’t decided yet. Depends on how the new books sell.
But I won’t be doing any new horror until this Fantasy series is done.
