And an update for you. I’ve received the first editing pass of MM5 and currently working my way through it. Still a long way to go but we’re getting closer. The editor liked the read, calling it “Exciting, action-oriented, funny,” so… take what you will from that.

Let me preface this comment by saying that I love your storytelling. I was exposed to the Mountain Man Series via Audible in 2023 and quickly consumed the post apocalyptic tale in a matter of a few weeks with the exception of the prequels (saving for later). Having thoroughly enjoyed your visceral yet humorous writing style I had to take the next obvious step and seek out more of your work…more stories!
Then to my delight I discovered 131 Days books 1-3 omnibus available on audible for one well spent gold coin….or one well spent credit…sorry I just finished “To Thunderous Applause” narrated by John Lee or to be more specific I burned through books 1-5 in about 10 days. It’s become common place for my inner monologue to insert curses like “you unfit ponce” or “you sun scorched dried underside of a cow kiss” and of course “you dog blossom” for the standard responses when someone cuts me off in traffic!
I really have enjoyed MM and 131 Days! Next in the queue is Breeds, Troll Hunter, and those MM prequels not to mention your other work like White Sands Red Steel or maybe The Missing Boatman. Needless to say I am a fan and am beyond pleased to find another writer’s catalog to enjoy not to mention share with others.
Having just gone all fanboy I hope I can ask a question without offending. The ending of 131 Days: To Thunderous Applause seems rather abrupt leaving so much left unresolved with the House of Ten, Halm, Pig Knot and the gladiator season.
My question is can we expect more to come or another installment in the 131 Days series or have other projects taken precedence? No matter what comes next from the mind of Blackmore we will be watching and waiting to read or listen to.

Ahhh if only there were ten thousand more like you… which would be about the right number I need to keep working on the series without the fear of having the power cut off O.O.
There will be a book 6, and a book 7…. but after that, we’ll have to wait and see what the sales are like. Good sales… more 131 books. Unfit Sales….could mean the end of the series a lot sooner than I want. I’m a fantasy writer first, so if 131 can be my anchor, then there will be more books in that world.
