Getting really busy around here so just a quick update….
New books in the pipes for 2026–Breeds 4 is with the publishers and I’m going through editing passes for 131 book 7.
And good news, 131 book 6 “The Ogre and the Dragon” sold better than all the previous books in that series! It was the best release of the 131 series to date! Not gangbusters, mind you, but strong enough for me to get book 7 out there and then get started on book 8, without fear of having to pick up a part-time job…. so for that… thank you. Stronger sales for each release means I can consistently work on the series and, more importantly, finish it sooner rather than later.
Horror readers, take heart, I’m trying to keep one foot in each genre going forward. Breeds 4 will be the offering for 2026, and after that, we’ll see….

Sweet Seddon above! 131 Days is back and what a return! Great to hear the sales are good, and books 7 & 8 are in the works. Maybe if sales keep picking up you can stretch the series out, kinda like King Juhn stretching out the fighting season. One can hope..
Happy to hear that 131 Days is doing well. I just started the series a month or so ago after plowing through the entirety of the Mountain Man novels before that. Love your writing style, and the narration of both of these series has been fantastic. Can’t wait for more! Happy New Year!
Book 6 has done the best of the series thus far, which is encouraging for book 7 (which I’m working on right now). With Breeds 4 with the publishers now, I have a little wiggle room to start 131:8, and hopefully, sales of book 131:7 will be even better than that of book 6, so I can keep working on the series and bring it to conclusion. How many books? Not sure. As always, it all depends on sales… but right now, I have book 8, 9 and some of book 10 outlined on a board here. So, we’ll see…. 🙂

Massive fan here! Just started book 6 of 131 via Audible and just have to say that Mr. John Lee does a incredible job. Very happy to see that sales were good and book 7 and 8 are in the works.
